About the Creativity Workshops
We are looking for creative practitioners to deliver workshops as part of our ongoing workshop programme. These community focussed sessions are designed to spark the imagination and bring joy in creativity. The workshops are for beginners and beyond. We are proud that these hands-on workshops support wellbeing and connection in a collaborative space.
The Open Call Process
We want to offer a broad range of activities and this open call is an invitation to artists, makers and designers to deliver on one of our sessions.
The open call asks for information about recent work, images/video and a short statement.
The open call will be live from 6pm on the 9th of September to 6pm on the 23rd of September 2025.
Submissions must be made using the google form linked below. Once the open call is complete we will get in touch. The selected providers will receive an hourly rate for deliver and preparation along with materials.
Lady Bay Arts is for all types of people and we will use the open call process to ensure diversity across venues involved.
Please note that applications will only be accepted using the google form link below. Submissions by email will not be accepted.
What the Lady Bay Arts Creativity Workshops look like
Each workshop session runs for 3 hours on 2 consecutive days.
The workshops are delivered at local venues including the Scout Hall and All Hallows’ Church.
Two or three different activities take place concurrently
This creates a lively and dynamic experience for our audiences to be creative.
Our workshop programme is well attended
We regularly get 35 to 70 participants per session
The fee for workshop providers includes:
4 hours per day. 8 hours total
2 hours preparation time
A materials budget to cover materials

The open call process
This call is open to all practitioners aged 18+ working in any level and medium, including students.
There is no fee for submitting to take part in the Lady Bay Arts Creativity Workshops Open Call
Submissions will only be accepted using the google form on this page and submissions sent by email will not be included.
The open call will be live from 6pm on the 9th of September to 6pm on the 23rd of September 2025
Participation in the Lady Bay Arts Creativity Workshops
Upon selection participants will be responsible for establishing and maintaining contact with the Lady Bay Arts.
Participants will be responsible for transporting and maintaining any equipment, and for adherence to health and safety best practice.
The Lady Bay Arts Workshops Subgroup will not be responsible for any damages due to errors in delivery or for any injuries caused by participation of the public.
All providers will be required to have insurance for their own activities.
Participation in the Lady Bay Arts Creativity Workshops does not impact on intellectual and artist rights.
Selected participants will receive a contract outlining the expectations of participation, key dates and the terms and conditions in greater detail.
Selection process
The aim of the Open Call is to ensure that a wide range of activities are provided to our audiences.
All selections will be made based on the submission and we are unable to include links in the selection process.
The Lady Bay Arts Workshops Subgroup will be part of the selection process and their decisions are final.
Lady Bay Arts is unable to offer feedback on submissions.
