RICHARD: Play with melodies and rhythms to create our own ensemble music.

Come and join in some directed group music-making, where we will play with different melodies, rhythms and textures to create our own inspiring musical patterns and soundscapes. All musical abilities welcome, please bring your own instrument.

Richard is a Lady Bay-based composer and musician who has worked with both community groups and professional musicians nationally and internationally, and has a wide range of experience with creative workshops for all ages.

OKSANA: Hook and prod a rag picture using recycled and scrap materials.

Enjoy the experimentation of creating a picture using the old traditional craft of rag rugs.

Passionate about sustainability and a trained knitwear designer, Oksana loves creating works of art using recycled and scrap fabric with a heavy emphasis on colour and pattern

GERRY: Using water colour paint and a variety of tools we’ll make to music.

THIS WORKSHOP IS FULL

We'll be investigating all the possibilities of one or 2 paint colours to explore mark making and then we'll let music guide the brushes. Each piece will be totally unique.

Gerry is a multi craft maker who enjoys sharing the flow to be found in gently expressive activities in textiles, willow and paint.
